SOEPP
By now, Soepp is practically a household name in Alkmaar, and if they were based in Amsterdam, they would be hip foodies. As it is, they are simply down-to-earth West Frisians who are absolutely crazy about tasty, fresh, and healthy food. With love, they stand in the kitchen every day, stirring a huge pot of soup.
They put not only love into their food, but also exclusively organic products. They are 100% vegetarian and always have vegan options available. Soup, of course, but also a salad, vegetarian burger, or curry. You don't have to feel awkward if you follow a sugar-free, gluten-free, or lactose-free diet. They don't find that difficult and adapt their dishes to your wishes.
Every day they have a changing menu so that they can respond to seasonal products and rarely have to throw anything away. Better for the earth, because that is important to them, just like corporate social responsibility and collaborating with sustainable initiatives. They are currently working on creating a cookbook for charity called Soepp Bindt. In addition, they are also a vintage shop; they sell all the items they have.
Soepp is an impact favorite because it focuses entirely on organic, vegetarian, and often vegan meals. By cooking with seasonal products and a rotating menu, food waste is prevented as much as possible. Additionally, the reuse of interior items and materials contributes to a circular approach. Soepp collaborates with sustainable initiatives and is committed to social projects. A place where healthy food, sustainability, and social engagement come together.
