In the meantime, Soepp has almost become a household name in Alkmaar and if they were in Amsterdam, they would be hip foodies. Now they are just down-to-earth West Frisians who are crazy about tasty, fresh and healthy food. With love, they stand in the kitchen every day, stirring above a mega-large pan of soup.

They not only put love into their food, but also only organic products. They are 100% vegetarian and there are always vegan options available. Soup of course, but also a salad, vegetarian burger or curry. You don't have to feel bad if you follow a sugar, gluten or lactose free diet. They don't find that difficult and adapt their dishes to your wishes.

Every day they have a changing menu so that they can respond to seasonal products and rarely have to throw anything away. Better for the earth, because they think that is important, just like social entrepreneurship and working together with sustainable initiatives. They are currently working on a cookbook for charity called Soepp Bindt. They are also a vintage store; they sell all the stuff they have.
