Welgelegen is situated in the beautiful nature reserve of the Eilandspolder. It has traditionally been a small market gardening business with greenhouses and fine vegetable cultivation in open fields. Camping Welgelegen was established in 1966. 60 years later, the market garden with its historic greenhouses is still an important part of the campsite. You can camp there, buy a mobile home, or rent a fully equipped mobile home. They rent out canoes, and the harvest from the greenhouses is for sale at a good price in the vegetable shop on the campsite.
